Below are details that were leaked in a trailer for Battlefield: Hard Line –
In a leaked trailer for Battlefield: Hard Line, the game kept being referred to as Omaha.
The single player campaign will follow Nick Mendoza who is a young Miami detective that gets caught up in his struggle between right and wrong, cop and criminal. Nick goes on a cross country revenge seeking his once trusted partners on the force. Each level is based almost like a cop drama, where each level is referred to as an episode, with cliffhangers and all. The cast in the campaign includes people from hit shows such as Justified, The Americans and House of Cards. There are many gadgets in the campaign such as a gadget that enables an investigation mode that will help you find clues that will add a second layer to the story. Another gadget allows Nick to scan targets for warrants, using the money he earns for unlocks. The scanner helps the player decide his or her play style.
Levels are wider and more open than ever. Also the AI has been designed from the ground up. The result of this is where episodes/levels can be played multiple times in multiple different ways. You will visit American urban environments to cause mayhem and destroy. Battlefield: Hard Line will feature military inspired weapons and fictional weapons.
Multiplayer game modes include heist mode, rescue mode, hotwire mode & blood money mode. In heist mode the player will be able to rob banks and fight against the cops. In rescue mode, cops are sent in to rescue hostages in a robbery gone wrong. In hotwire mode, cops are chasing thieves in vehicles across huge open environments. In Blood Money mode, cops & thieves fight over a lump sum of money to take back to their safe house.
In Multiplayer, gadgets take center stage. The player will be able to use zip-lines or grappling hooks that can be used on any map, anywhere. Vehicles will range from muscle cars, police cruisers, counter-attack trucks, boats, planes and choppers, which can also be confirmed from the leaked image at the end of this post. There will also be four classes which includes Enforcer, Mechanic, Operator and Professional.
Rumor: There will also supposedly be a beta for the game before it’s release.
