Rainbow Six Siege won’t have a single-player campaign according to Ubisoft’s Scott Mitchell. Mitchell revealed this in an interview with PCGamesN. This spells bad news to me considering the lack of content Siege offers with only ten mulitplayer maps at launch. Gamers seem to want single-player story in there games now more than ever. This game is officially crossed off my list after this news and being underwhelmed with the closed multiplayer beta a few days ago. Here is the direct quote Mitchell told PCGamesN.
“There is no story mode per se,” he said. “You go through training, where you get to experience different operators and their devices. You can play against enemy AI in co-op through all the maps. You can customise matches, so that’s what we’re offering on the single-player side of things.”
